SID Displayweek 2024
12 -17 May 2024
San Jose Convention Center
San Jose, Kalifornien, USA
Exhibition Dates: May 14th - May 16th (Tue-Thurs)
Hosted by the Society for Information Display (SID), this is the 61st International Display Week Symposium, Seminar & Exhibition, and we expect a full turnout for our annual weeklong extravaganza that showcases the latest and greatest technology and advancements from the global electronic display and visual information technologies industries. From AR/VR, auto tech, OLED, micro-OLED and microdisplays to wearables, digital signage and ePaper – and everything in between– Display Week offers a plethora of sights and sounds of what’s new and what’s next.
You can expect to engage with world-renowned technology leaders, trend-setting innovators and the international community’s brightest minds, and experience hands-on demos of new technologies, applications and products. Highlights include a stunning exhibition featuring the most influential display and visual information technology companies; a multi-day technical symposium featuring visionary scientists and researchers, and hundreds of papers from the global display community; and the I-Zone, a unique exhibition-within-an-exhibition where start-ups, universities and think tanks from around the world will showcase advanced prototypes and demos of products and concepts that haven’t hit the marketplace yet. This is where German companies can identify interested parties in the manufacturing sector as well as be seen by users who would like to see the innovative power of "Made in Germany" implemented by their Asian suppliers.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) decides on, and supports, official participations in the Federal Republic of Germany's international trade fairs and exhibition programme. In addition to policy and budgetary issues, the active involvement in the presentation of Germany at international fairs and exhibitions is of prime importance. In a constant dialogue with private-sector partners, the division for international / national trade fairs and exhibitions of the ministry backs the export activities of German industry on international markets.
Furthermore, the "fairs and exhibitions division" is concerned with planning and implementing German participation in world expositions abroad and with major political issues regarding fairs and exhibitions in Germany.
The AUMA - Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organisations.
The association organises the official German trade fair programme abroad in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
As part of this programme, the Federal Government provides financial assistance for German participations at foreign events, but also for independent presentations by German industry abroad.
